About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Receptionist/Secretary to join NJ Papallo Lawyers in Sydney, NSW. This part-time role will provide essential administrative and receptionist support to our legal professionals, ensuring the smooth running of our office. What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Handling incoming phone calls, emails and correspondence in a timely and efficient manner
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for legal staff
  • Providing general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and document preparation
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment, and assisting with office organisation and tidiness
  • Supporting legal professionals with ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a receptionist or administrative role is required
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work
  • A flexible and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt

This part-time position offers flexible working arrangements regarding the number of days per week.
