We are seeking a highly capable applicant for the following position:

  • School Officer: Technician - Health and Science - This role is available as a term-time position, on a full-time (5 days) or part-time (3 days) basis for the right candidate.

Technicians in the Health and Science Department provide technical support for the management of Science Laboratories and operational support for practical lessons across the Science and Health faculty.

The following capabilities would be highly regarded:

  • Capabilities and skills relevant to the position description
  • A minimum Certificate III in Laboratory Skills or the equivalent in other training or workplace experience
  • Experience in working in a school Laboratory, including preparing Chemistry practicals.
  • Experience with PASCO dataloggers
  • Background experience in microbiological science.
