**Pharmacy Technician**

**About the role**
- We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician who would like to join the pharmacy team at Angliss/Peter James/Wantirna Hospitals (rotational role). A casual positions available and may include rotations to other Eastern Health Pharmacy sites when appropriately trained. Additional shifts may become available if interested. Training and orientation will be provided.

**About you**
- Desirable skills include:

- Knowledge of medication names and experience with the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme
- Experience in hospital pharmacy (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to accurately dispense prescriptions
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skill
- Certificate III or IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support, desirable
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
