**Pharmacy Technician**
- Permanent part time position, 2 days per week
- Experienced Grade 1 or 2 or 3 | Based at Angliss/Peter James/Wantirna Hospitals

**About the role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician who would like to join the pharmacy team at Angliss/Peter James/Wantirna Hospitals (rotational role). A permanent part time position available and may include rotations to other Eastern Health Pharmacy sites when appropriately trained. Additional shifts may become available if interested. Training and orientation will be provided.

**About you**

Desirable skills include:

- Knowledge of medication names and experience with the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme
- Experience in hospital pharmacy (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to accurately dispense prescriptions
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skill
- Certificate III or IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support, desirable
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
