Under the support and direction of the
Project and Implementation Lead
and as part of Wellways' organisational Quality team, the
Quality Program and Continuous Improvement Officer
will play a key role in supporting the delivery of new programs, with a focus on establishing and maintaining
Mental Health and Wellbeing Local Services w
ithin Wellways. This role responds to emerging needs, including legislative updates, quality standards and certification requirements.
You will contribute to organisational capacity building and ensure new programs meet compliance and quality expectations, supporting the frontline teams and collaborating across the organisation to drive consistent and effective quality processes.
Some key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with corporate services and service delivery teams to respond to immediate and emerging quality needs, particularly for new Mental Health and Wellbeing Local Services. Support frontline teams in implementing compliance activities aligned with funder and legislative requirements.
- Understand and interpret new program requirements, including legislative and contractual obligations.
- Assist in developing quality project plans for the delivery of new programs and services.
- Provide support and coordinate training to embed quality processes in new programs.
- Consider the people impacts of systems and quality controls, including participant experience, staff engagement and efficiency
About You:
You are organised, proactive and skilled at balancing compliance, quality and people focused outcomes. Your project coordination and quality assurance experience will help shape new programs and improve organisational capability, making a real difference to communities across Wellways services.
A bit of extra compliance required:
- Tertiary qualification in a social science OR significant industry experience
- Experience of systems improvement, project coordination or quality improvements, preferably in a large and/or complex organisations
- Right to Work within Australia
- National Police Records Check
- Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course
- LCS2 check - Wellways to provide
