With a strong focus on reliability, compliance, and service excellence, we help our clients deliver seamless, secure payment experiences to their customers.

We're now looking for an experienced and hands-on Payment Systems Manager to join our team. In this key leadership role, you'll work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to manage EFTEX's core payment platforms and technology operations, while helping to drive our digital transformation journey.

In this role, you will:

· Lead, monitor and develop a team of talented technical specialists across infrastructure, payments, and support

· Oversee the daily operation of EFTEX's payment systems to ensure reliability, performance and compliance

· Partner with the CTO to shape and deliver long-term technology and payments strategies

· Ensure we meet all relevant compliance and regulatory standards including PCI DSS, PCI PIN and AML/CTF

· Manage incidents, change control, and release schedules to maintain system

stability and uptime

· Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders

· Deliver key projects and platform enhancements on time, within budget, and to a high standard

What you'll bring:

· Minimum 10 years of experience in managing mission-critical payment or financial systems

· A strong understanding of EFTPOS, card scheme interfaces, and transaction processing

· Great leadership and coordination skills — you know how to keep teams focused and motivated under pressure

· Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, AML/CTF, and ISO 8583

· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving

· A strategic mindset paired with strong attention to detail

Desirable:

· Experience with Postilion, BPNode, or similar EFT host systems

· Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or SQL)

· Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Prognosis
