Position Overview: We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Business Development Manager / Account Manager to nurture existing client relationships, acquire new business and expand our presence in the security technology market across NSW and Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and/or business development within the security industry or similar, with a deep understanding of security solutions, technology and/or emerging technologies.

This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with key stakeholders and drive revenue growth through the support of existing relationships and the acquisition of new clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the security technology sector, with a focus on electronic security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, intruder alarms, electronic locking and video management.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and security integrators servicing target industries, including commercial, industrial, government and healthcare sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised security solutions that address client needs and deliver measurable value.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and project handover.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements to anticipate market opportunities and inform strategic planning.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals, with support from our internal teams to prospective clients, showcasing our expertise and capabilities in security technology solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs, maintaining accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a security and/or technology industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales.
  • Understanding of security technology systems, as well as emerging trends such as AI-driven analytics and cloud-based solutions will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding targets.
  • Willingness to travel to clients within NSW for meetings and attend industry events.
