Support Our Nursing Leadership Team at QEII Jubilee Hospital

Play a key role in delivering exceptional healthcare by providing high-level administrative support to our Nursing Directors within a dynamic hospital environment.

Your new role:

Be the organisational backbone supporting the Medical & Surgical Nursing Directors at QEII Jubilee Hospital. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities through high-level administrative and secretarial support.

  • Provide professional administrative assistance including diary and records management, meeting coordination, and correspondence preparation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
  • Support recruitment and payroll processes, ensuring compliance with Queensland Health procedures.
  • Manage competing priorities and maintain workflow efficiency with minimal supervision.

About you:

You are an organised, proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment and values precision, communication, and teamwork.

  • Proven ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative, and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise across all levels of the organisation.
  • Highly developed administrative and computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office and systems such as S4Hana, MSHLearn, IWFM, and MyHR.
  • A commitment to excellence, confidentiality, and providing quality support to senior healthcare leaders.
