The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Business Partner to join our high performing Finance team based at our head office in Coopers Plains, Brisbane. This role will be ideal for a Finance professional who has the ability to partner with our Operational teams and determine key drivers of financial performance. The role will be in the detail with a hands on approach required.

Duties and responsibilities for the role will include (but are not limited to):

  • Management accounting activities associated with month end processes
  • Financial analysis of all balance sheet inputs
  • Challenge the accuracy, integrity, and quality of the assets, liabilities, and P&L data being reported
  • Produce cash flow forecasting information
  • Provide Accounts Payable support and act as an escalation point for AP queries
  • Guide, mentor and manage a small team with a focus on consistent communication and support
  • Become the trusted advisor and spokesperson for all thing Finance in the Queensland business

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience with leadership, development and management of people while also maintaining a hands on approach
  • Demonstrated financial business partnering experience from an operational environment
  • Able to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences both verbally and in written format
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of all Accounting Standards, Financial Modelling and Financial Analysis
  • CA or CPA qualified, with postgraduate study in accounting, business or commerce preferred
  • Experience with Kynection, Power BI and MYOB Advanced systems (highly desirable but not essential)
