The Role

We're after someone who's passionate about food, thrives in a fast paced team setting, and brings strong leadership and organisation skills to the table. You'll be overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, from menu development to summer to mentoring a small but capable team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop seasonal menus that reflect our region and ethos
  • Oversee service and ensure consistent quality every time
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and relationships with suppliers
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
  • Lead, train, and support kitchen staff with clarity and respect
  • Costing dishes accurately to meet financial goals
  • Handle rosters, wages, and staffing logistics
  • Plan and deliver menus for private events and special functions
