Role Description:

The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across various stages, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, this role helps manage project timelines, communication, documentation, and workflow processes to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

Key responsibilities include preparing project plans, updating schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation such as meeting minutes, task lists, presentations, and status reports. The Assistant Project Manager assists in identifying project risks, monitoring deadlines, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables. The role may also support budget tracking, resource allocation activities, and project-related administrative tasks.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and analytical skills. The Assistant Project Manager often coordinates meetings, gathers project requirements, supports process improvements, and ensures consistent communication between departments.   • Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and familiarity with project management software (Trello, Asana, Jira, , MS Project).
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to identify potential issues and support risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications such as
    CAPM
    or
    PRINCE2 Foundation
    are advantageous but not required.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
