Office Manager
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and proactive Office Manager / Executive Assistant to join a leading global organisation as they launch their first Sydney office. With over 3,000 employees worldwide and established offices in New York and Singapore, this is a rare opportunity to be part of an international business at the very start of its Australian journey.
Reporting directly to two senior leaders, this position will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining the daily operations of the Sydney office. You'll be responsible for both executive support and office management, ensuring the new office runs smoothly from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive assistance to two senior leaders, including diary and travel management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
- Act as the first point of contact for the Sydney office, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
- Manage office operations, including inventory, supplies, and facilities coordination.
- Oversee office upkeep, liaising with vendors and building management as required.
- Assist with onboarding new team members and supporting day-to-day administrative needs.
- Plan and coordinate staff events and team activities, contributing to a positive and inclusive office culture.
Why You'll Love This Role
This isn't a standard Office Manager role — it's a growth opportunity. As the Sydney office expands, there will be room to develop the role further, including the chance to hire and mentor an additional support person. The long-term plan is for this position to evolve into a pure Executive Assistant role within two years, offering strong career progression for the right candidate.
About You
- Previous experience as an Office Manager, Team Assistant or EA within a corporate environment.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic start-up-style environment within a global business structure.
If you're looking for a role where you can make your mark, help shape a new office, and grow with an expanding global organisation — we'd love to hear from you.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
