Our client is a family-owned and vertically integrated FMCG business with annual revenue in excess of $100 million.

Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic growth and profitability, while upholding the family's values of innovation, sustainability and community engagement.

Key tasks will include:

  • Developing and executing the strategic plan and business objectives, ensuring alignment across operations, financial performance, market growth, labour efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

  • Ensuring strong financial performance across the business by managing COGM, gross margin, EBITDA, and ROA.

  • Developing capital investment plans and asset management strategies to ensure long-term reliability, operational efficiency, and return on investment across critical infrastructure.

  • Leading a positive, inclusive, high performing workplace culture through staff engagement, safe work practices, workforce development and competency levels aligned with strategic goals.

The Board are seeking either a CEO or C-Suite leader whose career has been built in senior sales, marketing and commercial leadership roles (ie Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer etc) with extensive FMCG industry experience and understanding of vertically integrated food operations.

Commercially astute with a passion for innovation, people and continuous improvement, you will be a strong communicator and relationship builder. You will be resilient, decisive, and able to navigate complexity with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to influence at all levels.

The role is based permanently in Sydney and our client is open to candidates willing to relocate from interstate and/or Australian passport holders currently based overseas who are looking to return home.
