**About the role**

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will own the Independents Channel across their two major categories whilst also managing a National Account Executive. You will manage all facets of the customer including all JBP’s, promotions and P&L, whilst also optimising category opportunities within NPD and activations collaborating with the marketing & category team. You will develop robust customer relationships within Metcash (state & national) as well as MSO’s, whilst also managing the third party field team. This role is a critical part of the sales team and is poised for significant growth

**Skills & experience**

Success in this role will come from demonstrated National Account Management experience specifically within the Independent Grocery channel. You will demonstrate an understanding of the complexities of the MSO network which will be evident in your success in delivering against growth targets, accompanied with a strong level of commercial & financial acumen. You will be a natural leader and thrive on working in a close knit team, and be genuinely passionate about driving best practice customer management.
