The Role
We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to oversee an established portfolio of national manufacturing customers while identifying and driving new growth opportunities. This role combines ownership of the portfolio with close collaboration across cross-functional teams, including R&D, Innovation, Planning, QA, and Customer Service. It offers a balanced mix of account management and business development, enabling you to deepen existing relationships while expanding into new products and key growth areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of national B2B customers, ensuring long-term partnerships
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas within existing accounts and across categories
- Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs
- Develop and implement account strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
- Conduct high-level negotiation, strategic planning, and problem-solving with key stakeholders
- Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports and present insights to senior management
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales and account management within food manufacturing, beverage, ingredients or related sectors
- Demonstrated success managing high volume B2B customers/accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with results-driven and analytical approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Hands-on, proactive, and collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
