**The Role**
This position is responsible to the Business Operations Manager for the workforce demand planning, recruiting, managing and reporting to the HALSPO Executive and broader organisation.
This position provides internal and external assurance support to ensure HALSPO collaboratively improves management of a workforce that nurtures systems and processes to protect and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all workers and the sustainability of the workplace.
This position will also support varied business operations such as records management, manage teams in a matrixed environment and support the EL1 Business Operations Manager.
**About our Team**
The Heavy Air Lift Systems Program Office (HALSPO) at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Amberley is an important business unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems branch of the Aerospace Systems Division.
HALSPO is the in-service support agency responsible for sustaining and enhancing the RAAF’s KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport, C-17A Globemaster Heavy Lift Transport, Boeing Business Jet and Falcon 7X Special Purpose Aircraft capabilities for Air Force. These fleets form the backbone of the Strategic Air Mobility capability within Defence and are utilised for roles ranging from humanitarian support to high-end operations.
In this role you will enjoy an outwardly engaged environment with multiple complex stakeholder groups from within Defence and wider Industry, whilst working as part of the Business Management Team within HALSPO.
