This position is part of a geographically dispersed team of multi-disciplinary professionals from both public and private industry. The main focus of this role is communication, collaboration, operating within and assuring cyber security boundaries in order to support the war-fighter at all times.

AVEMs will also respond to enquiries relating to approved Defence AV/VTC solutions, and provide in-depth reporting to key stakeholders.
This position has a high reliance on the ability to communicate in a professional, precise and competent manner, to problem solve, and to deliver upon operational outcomes to all key stakeholders.
**About our Team**

Our team comprises a mix of Australian Public Service (APS) and Contracted personnel located between several major Defence bases Australia wide.
Our Culture is one that is driven by collaboration and communication within a diverse workforce setting.
Our Mission is to deliver, support, and strengthen secure audio visual communication channels that enable Defence global operations and assure cyber security.
The AVEM will be an exceptional communicator with proven problem solving skills delivering outcomes to end users. They will engage with stakeholders at a high-level, and will be required to set and identify expectations, delivering the appropriate solutions that achieve operational outcomes. They are accountable under broad direction to undertake complex AV and VTC service provisioning activities and customer service.
They will work independently within a small team, having some authority and discretion to investigate information from diverse sources and explore innovative approaches to support the longer-term business objectives and end user needs. They will be capable and confident in problem solving, delivering solutions, presenting business cases, and developing and maintaining suitable work practices and procedures that remain in accordance with strategic and corporate objectives.
They will be familiar with working in an Operations team who are fast-paced and outcome driven.
