The role
As the Correspondence Officer for the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) you will assist in the preparation and editing of outgoing Branch correspondence to ensure accurate, timely and relevant information is provided. The role assists the Branch staff to understand correspondence processes and standards and to provide support to the administration team within the Branch is a key aspect of this role.
The successful person
**You will have demonstrated**:
- Experience in managing high volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence, including proof reading, editing and formatting.
- Ability to deliver work of a high quality, validity and accuracy to achieve team outcomes.
- High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and utilise discretion in the absence of decision makers; to meet deadlines and establish work priorities to maximise efficiency, work output and the changing needs of the team.
- High standard of administrative support skills and experience with the ability to be self-motivate and work cooperatively, effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
