The purpose of the Correspondence Officer is to provide high-level business and administrative support to the LTSR branch.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Coordination of LTSR executive and ministerial correspondence, briefing notes, parliamentary requests and other correspondence in a timely and effective manner. Prioritise and track all incoming/outgoing correspondence and relay promptly to action officers, as necessary, for preparation of draft replies in accordance with departmental guidelines. Liaison and negotiation with a wide range of offices and senior departmental management to achieve qualitive and performance standards. Provide assistance, training and induction to new and existing DocTrak and DMS system users. Prepare correspondence performance reports and statistics for the Office of the General Manager and LTSR.
**Requirements of the role**: - Ability to manage competing priorities and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes within a fast-paced environment - Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills - Working cooperatively and respectfully with others to help the team and branch achieve its shared goals
- Demonstrate your ability to rapidly acquire a well-developed working knowledge of the branch, its operations and the needs of the General Manager's office
- Take personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing work, and for committing energy and drive to see that goals are achieved
