**What you will be doing**:

- Coordinate, draft and quality assure draft ministerial and executive correspondence.
- Liaise with officers of the department to ensure the effective preparation and coordination of ministerial and executive correspondence while providing authoritative information, feedback and advice regarding the format, style and other technical aspects of ministerial and executive correspondence.
- Maintain, monitor, evaluate and make suggestions for improvements to systems and processes to support the flow of ministerial and executive correspondence.
- Contribute to Right to Information requests and responding to requests concerning the status of ministerial and executive correspondence.
- Assist in the liaison process with Ministerial officers, directorates and regions to ensure that appropriate processes, guidelines and standards are followed for ministerial and executive correspondence.
- Assist in the provision of advice, guidance and support to officers within the department with relation to the preparation of ministerial and executive correspondence, including timelines, procedures, format and style.
- Assist other officers when required, in the provision of a coordination and quality control service for the preparation of ministerial and executive correspondence for other client departments and Ministers.
- Contribute at a high-level to a culture of client service, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
