Local BL Manager Hoisting Australia

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will be responsible in creating, owning and implementing Service strategy in coordination with the Local Business Line Manager and drive Service growth locally at the respective local unit level. Leads the Hoisting service organization and is responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and to optimize the utilization of service resources. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating sound knowledge of business processes within the relevant industry and acting as an expert in realizing the business's long-term objectives. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Hoisting Business Line of the Process Industries Division of ABB, Australia. You will be mainly accountable for: - Creating, implements, and monitoring performance targets as part of the respective unit P&L (financial, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, etc.). - Executing service and sales channel strategy within own area of responsibility. - Implementing productized service offerings and materials for marketing purposes and invests in service sales to increase market penetration. - Building sustainable customer relationships to ensure growth, satisfaction, and retention of customers together with sales. - Guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates and accountable for building and effective, capable, and high-performing organization - Driving continuous improvement culture and the implementation of improvements to achieve service excellence and increase profitability in the own area of responsibility - Responsible for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards and regulations in own area of responsibility

**Qualifications for the role**:

- You are experienced in delivering mine site service, maintenance or installation works, either mechanical or electrical discipline.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in effectively manage and lead a specialised team.
- You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in mine maintenance, or managing and delivering field services to the mining industry or similar industrial market.
- Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar qualification.
- Ideally eligible to register as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
- Experience in maintaining or servicing mine hoist systems and/or executing shaft sinking is an advantage.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
- You are driven, motivated and passionate about delivery excellent customer service.
