The Consumer, Customer and Corporate Services (C&CCS) Risk team provides Risk oversight, insight and control for the Consumer division and Customer and Corporate Services division across all Risk classes.
We support the business to execute its strategy within risk appetite, strengthen its control environment, and identify emerging and thematic concerns. Our team is a key contributor to achieving sustainable outcomes for our customers and sustainable success for our business.

**How will I help?**

As Executive Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring, you will perform the lead role in driving, implementing, and managing risk as well as monitoring obligations in Customer and Corporate Services (CCS). Specifically, you will report into the Head of Risk and support the Chief Brand and Marketing office ensuring consistent implementation, and embedding of risk management frameworks, policies and controls.

You will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of Risk professionals to enhance and uplift the first line risk management across Brand and Marketing.

You will also be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders on all matters risk and control, developing pragmatic solutions to risk and control problems through to end-to-end implementation and valued stakeholder engagement.

**Further key responsibilities include**:

- Lead, coach & develop to grow a team of risk professionals ensuring the divisional and business risk management frameworks, metrics, priorities, and strategies are aligned to the Groups risk frameworks, strategy, and appetite
- Provide senior risk expertise to the business in the identification, assessment, actioning, and remediation of risk issues to drive a strong risk and controls culture
- Support the proactive and effective monitoring, management, and reporting of current and emerging risks
- Facilitate a strong risk culture, risk awareness, and ownership of risk throughout the business
- Support the development of the business' risk profile and operation within risk appetite, including defining and operationalising relevant RAS metrics, as well as developing and implementing plans
- Work closely with key senior stakeholders to identify and enable efficient and effective risk practices in the business
- Provide risk expertise to support the business with regulatory requests and remediationProvide insights and reporting for risk committees and board risk committees

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role, you must be a highly experienced risk manager and people leader from a Banking or Finance background. You must have demonstratable experience in various classes of Operational Risk and have a track record of enhancing processes as well as thinking outside the box. You must also have demonstrable experience as a People Leader with the ability to manage a team, as well as uplift and develop their skills.
