Manager, CIB Business Controls & Monitoring

**How will I help?**

In this role as Manager, CIB Business Controls & Monitoring you'll be instrumental in implementing and overseeing risk management and monitoring obligations throughout the Lending Value Chain (VCM) within the Corporate & Institutional Business, ensuring consistency and embedding risk management outcomes across our Front Line Coverage and Chief Operating Office teams.

Your responsibilities will include partnering with key stakeholders to address all risk and control matters, implementing solutions to cultivate a mature risk management culture, and supporting the development of credible pathways for control gaps and process improvement opportunities. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining compliance with CIB-related obligations while upholding our strong risk culture, grounded in ethics and integrity, and balancing commercial and customer needs.

As part of our dynamic team of risk professionals, you'll ensure that our operations and risk management practices align with our frameworks, policies, and regulatory obligations. Your expertise will be pivotal in identifying, assessing, and addressing risk and control issues to foster a robust risk and controls culture that drives business outcomes.

**What do I need?**

You'll bring 3-5 years of Regulatory Compliance / Operational Risk advisory experience within the Corporate & Institutional Banking business. Experience in obligations management, conflicts management and customer onboarding would be advantageous. Your ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships will be key, as well as your proactive and organised approach to achieving outcomes.
