**How will I help?**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Business Controls and Monitoring (BCM) role.

As a manager you will play a key role in supporting the Merchants Village within the Cash & Transactional Banking Line of Business (LoB) on all matters risk and control, and supporting implementation of solutions to risk and control problems.

Your responsibilities will include:

- As part of a team of risk professionals, contribute to ensuring the Merchants Village risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the LoB, Division and Group, and be a trusted risk adviser. This will include staying abreast of changes to policy requirements/guidance and supporting the Village with understanding/embedding rolling out these changes.
- Provide risk expertise in navigating incident and issue rectification, remediation, and regulatory updates for the Merchants Village.
- Leading incident verification and root cause analysis activities within required SLAs
- Support regulatory notices, ensuring factual accuracy of information summarising the breach, root cause, rectification, and remediation activities within required reporting timeframes
- Ensuring any impacts to the Value Chain risk profile as a result of incidents and issues are appropriately considered and updated.
- Provide controls expertise to assist with identification, uplift or building of controls within the Village:

- Testing the design and operating effectiveness of those controls.
- Support the Senior Managers with providing effective risk expertise for change initiatives.

**What do I need?**
- 3-5 years relevant risk experience with relevant tertiary qualifications
- Operational risk / compliance advisory experience Risk Management, Legal or Compliance Experience; and Merchants acquiring experience would be highly advantageous
