
Sales and Account Manager

**What’s the role?**
- Manages the end-to-end sales process including sales origination, demo of the platform and closure of the sale
- Develop an effective and consistent approach to customer demos, acquisition meetings and onboarding support
- Convert qualified demos scheduled by sales development representatives and drive the acquisition of new customers comprising agencies (core focus for launch period), business owners and marketers (additional focus for post launch period)
- Manage the day to day activities of the SDR team including coaching and mentoring, understanding the pipeline and overseeing their performance against KPIs
- Nurtures customers acquired to inform future platform enhancements and business development approach/activities
- Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and market segments and work with marketing and other key stakeholders on the ideal customer profile and new business materials
- Research and develop new market opportunities whilst maximising current revenue streams
- Own weekly and monthly forecasting of the sales pipeline
- Understand team performance and use data to inform problem solving, maximise current revenue streams, drive efficiencies and identify opportunities for further improvements
- Achieve revenue targets, manage budget forecasting and new business pipeline
**Who you are**
- You will be an experienced and commercially astute sales professional who ideally has experience in Agency, Digital, Marketing and/or Media environments
- Strong digital marketing sales or agency experience across programmatic, Facebook, Google platform or search engine marketing products is essential
- Demonstrate how you have used your understanding of digital performance products, the industry and competitor landscape to influence sales outcomes
- Proven track record of exceeding targets in a sales role (minimum 5 years in Sales)
- Experience in effectively driving an account based selling strategy
- 1-2 years experience within a people management role is desirable
- Natural charismatic leader, growth oriented mindset and a team player
- Informed by data and metrics, you are ready to tackle any challenge or problem (big or small) that may come your way and are solution-oriented
- Experience working with CRM systems and SaaS, knowing how to utilise it on a basic level to pull key reports, and create dashboards
- A great level of positive energy to deliver across multiple deadlines, solutions focused with amazing customer service
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, strategic thinking and commercial acumen
- You will be agile, forward-thinking and thrive within a high-performance culture to achieve sales targets and drive results
- You're a natural networker who understands what is required to build effective relationships
