**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are seeking a Head of HR Operations to lead the HR Operations across Australia and Asia for high performance, innovation and operational excellence across a broad suite of HR services including policy; processes; people systems, data and analytics; Work Health & Safety (WH&S); compliance; and mobility. As a leader in the global HR Operations team, reporting to the HR Director, International Mobility, Operations & Analytics and locally to the Director of People you will:
**Leadership**:
- Lead, develop and motivate a team of professionals responsible for provision of timely and accurate HR services including but not limited to:
- administrative support and data for all HR processes across the full employment lifecycle
- the design, delivery, and administration of our HRIS system (Workday)
- people data, analytics and insights
- policy development and interpretation
- HR precedent development and maintenance
- mobility
- WH&S strategy (including ER), programs, initiatives, and case management advice
- compliance requirements
- Facilitate and enhance collaboration across the HR Operations team, actively sharing knowledge, expertise and talent.
- Build understanding and capability across the HR team to ensure effective collaboration between HR Operations, Business Partnering and Centres of Excellence.
- Overall accountability for and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all work undertaken by the HR Operations team.
**Business Improvement**
- Lead the WH&S strategy development and execution, comply with WH&S obligations and responsibilities.
- Lead the People Listening Strategy - ensuring robust and insightful people data reporting and analytics to support effective decision making within the business.
- Lead the development and regular review of HR policies and precedents - make commercial and best practice recommendations, taking into account external and internal drivers.
- Seek new and innovative ways to improve processes. Initiate new ideas and solutions for service delivery.
- Oversight of annual HR processes, onboarding and induction process for all employees as well as audit reviews and any remediation required.
- Drive efficiencies though management of our HR system.
- Own the HR budgeting process and on-going management within the HR team in Australia.
- Manage relationships with outsourced providers (psychometric testing, pre employment checks & lifecycle surveys) and continually review the arrangements.
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
**To be successful in this position you will have**:
- Graduate qualification or equivalent in appropriate discipline
- Extensive leadership experience (not exclusively legal experience) at senior level (minimum 10 years or more).
- Proven experience in developing strategies that contribute to meeting an organisation’s objectives
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and improve processes
