About the Role

Reporting to the Site Coordinator we are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our AGL Macquarie team. As an Administration Officer you will be providing support to the day to day operations of our Bayswater & Liddell power stations. Your role will be varied and have exposure to multiple areas of the business.

This is a 12 month, fixed term role based at our AGL Macquarie site in Muswellbrook, NSW working a 9 day fortnight.

What you’ll be doing:
- Effectively manage system-based administration duties such as service entries, requisitions and notifications- Coordinate travel and fleet bookings- Organising catering and coordination of events- Managing stationery and office supplies- Entering credit card reconciliations- Performing general administration duties, including diary management, reception duties and other adhoc administration tasks as required

About You

An experienced Administration Officer you will have a collaborative, customer centric approach and enjoys supporting a range of stakeholders.

What you’ll bring to the table:
- Relevant business administration qualifications (minimum Certificate III Business Administration) and demonstrated experience- Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise and be flexible when urgent tasks arise- Sound understanding of administrative tasks, including data entry, keeping records and responding to queries- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence dealing with stakeholders across all areas of the business- High attention to detail with excellent data entry and applied skills in MS Office and site systems- It would be beneficial if you have experience or exposure working in a heavy industry environment
