ABOUT THE ROLE
To provide ongoing support to the People Team contributing to seamless operations within the function
through effective support system, administrative processes & timely and efficient communication
**TITLE**: People Administrator
**REPORTS TO**: People Business Partner
**DIRECT REPORTS**: N/A
**STAKEHOLDERS**: Team Members, Store Leaders, Retail Operations Team, State Team
**ORGANIZATIONAL LEVEL**: Team Member

This role ensures smooth and efficient HR operations, enabling leaders and team members to focus on delivering an exceptional workplace experience. By maintaining accurate records, providing expert HR support, and ensuring compliance, this position upholds Lorna Jane’s commitment to empowering women and fostering a thriving, people-first culture.
**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY. AREA 1**: HR SYSTEMS AND ADMINISTRATION
- Manage the People Team inbox, ensuring timely responses and resolutions. - Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity across all systems. - Oversee job changes from request to contract distribution and payroll updates. - Support with employee file management, including contracts and compliance documents. - Assist with onboarding and induction processes by ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
**AREA 2**: COMPLIANCE AND ADVISORY SUPPORT - Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards, and internal policies. - Provide HR advice to leaders and team members on policy interpretation and best practices. - Assist with workers' compensation claims and return-to-work coordination. - Monitor legislative changes and contribute to policy updates where required.
**AREA 3**: PAYROLL AND REPORTING
- Work closely with the Payroll Team to ensure accurate processing of job changes and separations. - Support the processing of part-time variations and award adjustments. - Generate and distribute key HR reports, including probation milestones and contract reviews. - Ensure termination processes are completed within the required timeframes.
**AREA 4**: PROJECTS AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
- Contribute to HR projects focused on system improvements and operational efficiency. - Assist with the development and implementation of HR frameworks across the business. - Champion HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and compliance.
