About the Role

Service Stream’s business division are currently seeking a National Technical Standards Manager to join our growing company. You will be Responsible for providing key technical support, guidance and training to all levels of the business.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: National

Reporting Line: Network Construction

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for:

- Driving improvements in the build process, principally from a quality and compliance standpoint.
- Reviewing customer/equipment vendor technical documents and briefings
- Ensuring as an organisation Service Stream comply with all customer and equipment provider technical standards and installation guidelines
- Preparing work instructions, processes, procedures, methods of procedures, guidelines and documents to drive compliance
- Conducting training of internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting in the end-to-end tender process where required
- Driving continual improvement opportunities
- Ad hoc support to colleagues and sub-contractors where required
- Attendance at sub-contractor meetings where required
- Working closely with the operational delivery teams and other areas of the project services groups to ensure all key business requirements are met
- Work independently and proactively to address any issues that are raised out of governance processes
- Manage time effectively to support current business priorities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

- Experience (ideally within Australia) in the wireless telecommunications sector with a very strong understanding dig of all components of mobile telecommunications networks especially NSW Telco Authority
- Strong understanding of NSW Telco Authority design and installation guidelines
- Strong understanding of MOP writing for NSW Telco Authority
- Experience in Motorola equipment and P25 integration.
- Strong understanding of SEMP(Site Environmental Management Plan)
- Strong understanding of key equipment vendor design and installation guidelines
- Experience in writing technical standard processes, guidelines, bulletins
- Experience in training internal and external staff
- Experience of working in a similar role desired but not essential
- Existing relationship with NSW Telco Authority stakeholders is preferred i.e. RFS, NSW Police etc.
