**Geotechnician** to join an organically growing, ASX listed mining company with many opportunities for growth in their WA operations. The business offers high grade resources and modern infrastructure to facilitate future expansion.

**About the Role**

The Successful applicant will be working closely with an onsite team in support of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, in order to extract precious metal deposits safely and efficiently. This permanent position offers an 8/6 roster on a FIFO basis from Perth.

**Job Tasks/Responsibilities**
- Maintaining geotechnical standards outlined in the Ground Control Management Plan
- Innovate and optimise mining and analysis methods/procedures in deep mining and open cut operations
- Demonstrate operational and technical capabilities within a growing technical service team
- Plan, manage and assess various backfill types
- A relevant Tertiary Degree (i.e., Bachelor of Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering/Mining Geology)
- Proficiency with relevant software suites (i.e., Vulcan, Deswik, Surpac, IMS suite, Rocscience suite, mXrap and MAP3D)
- Excellent problem solving ability and practical/efficient solutions
- 2+ years’ experience in a mining environment with at least one year in a mechanised underground mine
- Seismic experience is well regarded but not essential
