TEN Recruitment are working with one of WA’s largest home building companies who are looking for an experienced Construction Manager. This role will see you managed 4 supervisors with around 80 / 90 single and double storey homes which are under construction,
Your new role will report into the Building Manager along with the following responsibilities
- Managing 4 Supervisors with rounds NOR
- Ensuring construction takes place in the projected timeframe and all milestones are met.
- Management of all compliance and OHS
- Ensuring all administrative work is completed.
- Reporting on job progress to the Building Manager
- Liaising with stakeholders in regard to the progress of the build
- Ensure construction are to the current building codes and standards.
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
- At least 5 years experience within the residential building industry
- The ability to manage multiple supervisors
- Experience with Single and Double Storey homes
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation including the Building Code of Australia and current Workplace and Safety requirements
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and contracts
- A keen eye for detail
- A network of trades and suppliers
- A great work ethic and can-do attitude.
