**Your responsibilities may include**:

- Provide health and safety specialist advice, technical and management support.
- Assist with the implementation of HSEQ systems and strategies that align with company standards.
- Undertake risk assessments, field interactions, audits and inspections of complex tasks.
- Coordination and management of audit programs.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and minimise workplace injuries.
- Work closely with management team to conduct investigations into workplace incidents.
- Report potential hazards and misconduct in a timely manner.
- Drive for an inclusive and positive health and safety culture.
- Promote environmental awareness on site.

**Essential criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or OHS is required.
- 3+ years’ experience as a HSE Advisor within the civil OR construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of current industry standards, requirements and relevant legislation.
- Previous experience delivering NPI projects on mine sites.
- Current valid First Aid Certificate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and Word.
- Proven ability to engage and foster relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Capable of working efficiently unsupervised as well as within a team environment.
- Hold a dedicated commitment to the safety of all individuals on site.
- Strong environmental awareness.

This role offers a 12 month contract with an hourly rate of $75 plus super & 11.5 hours days, FIFO from Perth working on a 2/1 roster.
