**The Role**:
As the Alternate Underground Manager, you will lead our underground mining department, orchestrating planning, coordination, scheduling, and control of all underground activities. Your expertise will help us stay within agreed budgets and align with our overarching business strategy.

Your Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Technical Services to ensure schedules and plans meet budgeted targets.
- Provide accurate information to operational staff, ensuring the successful execution of the plan.
- Identify and conduct mining studies for future business opportunities and cost-effective improvements.
- Continuously review safety, production, and cost performance, implementing enhancements as needed.
- Conduct annual performance reviews, succession planning, and career path assessments for direct reports.
- Drive decision-making with a focus on surpassing targets and enhancing safety, production, and cost-efficiency.

**Your Profile**:

- Hold a Tertiary qualification as a Mine Engineer
- WA 1st Class Mine Manager's Certification or equivalent.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in a similar underground mining role.
- Maintain a Dangerous Goods Security Clearance and familiarity with contractor management.
- Have exposure to owner mining and contracting operations, with a strong focus on underground operations.
