**TEN Recruitment** are currently in partnership with a leading Australian mining company and they have asked us to recruit for

Ideally, you will come from a background in the mining and resources / Civil Construction industry and have prior experience operating heavy machinery and equipment on site. Your new role will see you responsible for meeting or exceeding targets by operating in a safe and efficient manner.

**Your responsibilities may include**:

- Perform daily inspections and pre-start checks of equipment.
- Operate 90T Loader as directed safely and efficiently.
- Working on a long term Rehabilitation project.
- Operate a range of ancillary equipment when required.
- Regular housekeeping and cleaning of machinery.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Extensive experience as a Production Operator / Civil Operator in a large-scale environment.
- Proven experience operating 90tonne+ excavators, diggers and other mobile plant equipment.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to operate in a safe manner.
- Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of the operations team.
- Hold a current C class drivers license.
- Has a “safety-first” mind set, always adhering to OHS requirements and established workplace rules.

Please note: applicants will be expected to pass the pre-employment criteria, inclusive of a drug / alcohol screening, National Police Clearance and proof of Australian working rights.
