This well known food manufacturer is a privately owned board run business that has been operating in Australia and Internationally for well over 40 years.

They supply a market leading range of products to both retailers and manufacturers and these partnerships have fuelled ongoing profitable relationships for mutual growth and development.

Their Head Office is based in the inner western suburbs of Melbourne and they have state of the art manufacturing facilities in both Melbourne and New Zealand

The business continues to flourish through innovation with a team that has a wealth of insights and research to the food industry, consumer behaviour and market trends to deliver outstanding products and results

**The role**

Reporting to the National Sales Manager this role will play a key ingredient in the delivery of the key objectives within the retail team identifying the needs of the customer and joint alignment with the business.

This role will also look at growth opportunities within the National Grocery retailers through existing portfolios and potential new categories. The management of existing private label contracts and the opportunity to tender for long term commercial relationships will ensure success in this position.

It will be imperative to forge ongoing commercial relationships with buyers within the accounts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

- Proven success at National Business Management in an FMCG environment
- Full understanding of the national grocery retailer
- Experience in private label and new product development
- Demonstrated experience in developing internal and external relationships
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
