National Business Manager
to lead our
Emerging Channels
portfolio within our Biscuits business unit.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role is pivotal in driving growth across emerging and strategically important customers.

You'll have full P&L ownership for your customer base, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to design and execute the Emerging Go-To-Market strategy. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends strategic thinking with strong commercial and customer management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute corporate account and growth plans aligned to business strategy and customer insights.
  • Identify new opportunities to drive incremental growth across existing and new customers.
  • Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and promotional programs.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate forecasting and strong execution of new product launches.
  • Manage trade spend and deliver on sales, volume, and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to influence innovation, manufacturing, and CAPEX decisions.

About You

You'll bring:

  • 5–10 years' experience in retail and/or FMCG, ideally within the grocery or food manufacturing space.
  • Proven success in customer and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret P&L and product costings.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and time management skills.
  • A growth mindset — resilient, proactive, and excited by new opportunities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline (highly regarded).
