**The organisation**

This privately owned Australian organisation has offices in Australia, Europe, USA, UK and the Middle East. They manufacture a wonderful range of infant lifestyle brands that are well known and very popular amongst the retailers and consumers.

They distribute their products across a number of retail channels including DDS, Hypermarkets and Grocery stores. They pride themselves on their outstanding quality and affordability and continually grow the category via innovative and high quality New Product Development

**The role**

This is the most senior role in the sales team

Reporting to the Sales Director this role will be responsible for the relationships with the national retailers to achieve the targeted profitable revenue. This role will shape the sales strategy and execute this plan across the national customers including ranging, promotional programs and trading

You will manage and expand business development opportunities and manage the commercial and financial viability of the customers ensuring that mutually beneficial trading arrangements are in place. You will prepare budgets; customers plans and sales analysis both financial and product based. It is important that this role has an in depth knowledge of the market, its trends, opportunities and competitor analysis

- Experience in an FMCG environment managing national accounts.
- High level of commercial and financial acumen
- Ability to forge outstanding customer relationships
- High organised with an attention to detail, resilience and determination
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Brand and marketing awareness
