**About the Company**
Davidson are a preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government.
We are seeking a A08 Engagement Manager for an initial 6 month contract. The Engagement Manager will be working within the Communications and Engagement team with 3 direct reports, and is based west of Brisbane CBD, with hybrid working from home arrangements.
**About the Role**
The Engagement Manager will manage the planning and execution of the Stakeholder Engagement section to ensure expected outcomes are achieved.
The key deliverables include:
- Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of an organisational framework which ensures effective communication with community stakeholders.
- Manage a framework which ensures effective representation in all projects; not limited to planning, monitoring, reporting, communications, and change management.
- Manage a framework which effectively communicates the progress and reporting of identified projects to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to broadcast involvement in projects, the successes, and progress of projects to the broader community, and where appropriate to seek feedback from the community on those projects.
- To foster a collaborative and cooperative culture to help develop productive relationships and within the section to achieve the deliverables of the section.
- To monitor, measure and report the delivery of outcomes within the section.
- To ensure effective staff development and management within the section.
- To carefully manage sensitive issues.
- To provide advice to all relevant stakeholders as required.
- Perform any other duties that are reasonably within the competency, skills and training of incumbent as may be directed from time to time by the position’s supervisor.
**About You**:
- Relevant professional qualification and/or substantial equivalent experience.
- Substantial knowledge and experience in the ongoing delivery of stakeholder relations within a government or other relevant organisation.
- Substantial negotiation, consultation, interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate integration of stakeholder relations and to deal with the needs of customers, local government, business, management and employees in an environment of change.
- Knowledge of, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of all relevant federal, state and local legislation and relevant policies and operating environment.
- High-level capability in monitoring and evaluating section performance.
