Work as a HR Advisor for a leading mining organisation based in Bowen Basin.
**Your new company**
A leading and global mining organisation headquartered in Brisbane is seeking a HR Advisor to be based in the Bowen Basin (in a residential capacity) on a permanent, full-time capacity.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, you will be accountable for supporting the delivery and execution of HR projects and for partnering with leaders to provide coaching and advice for all people related matters to ensure the development of appropriate skills and knowledge to effectively lead, manage and develop their teams and ultimately achieve business objectives.
- Develop effective professional relationships with leaders by providing accurate and timely advice to influence the delivery of performance-based business outcomes
- Develop an understanding of current and future workforce requirements by assisting the business areas with planning, modelling, and gap analysis to support leaders in the development of business case recommendations and associated recruitment approval processes
- Contribute to the preparation and development of salary recommendations and proposals for new hires and any requests for out of cycle reviews
- Support the recruitment activities for the business areas
- Contribute to the development of HR metrics to enable effective analysis, planning, budgeting, and reporting processes
- Review HRIS for compliance and support leaders to prevent outstanding journeys or tasks
- Provide strategic communication and change management support to leaders when implementing change or driving HR improvement initiatives and projects

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will require:

- Bachelor of Business (HRM) or tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Employment relations would be desirable
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Human Resources role at an Advisory level

Note: This role is residential and not FIFO, relocation to the Bowen Basin is required.
