**Your new company**:
This well-established Engineering firm is seeking their next Human Resource Advisor to join their fast-paced busy team. With extensive experience in the industry and assisting with the construction of multiple national projects, this opportunity would be suited for someone who is looking to take their HR career to the next level. They are seeking an experienced HR professional, who has an in depth understanding of an advisory role and what it entails. This exciting new opportunity will be based at their offices located Inner City fringe, onsite for the first six weeks and then the opportunity to work from home; this role will commence on a temporary basis and then will eventuate to a permanent position providing everything goes well.

**Your new role**:
Your duties will include, but not limited to the following:

- Acts as a first point of contact for managers on employee HR/ER/IR matters; provide policy/process advice and supports managers through coaching on resolution of employee grievances.
- Supports the HR Principal to develop strategies for employee engagement and cyclical HR processes.
- Own the administration of the HRIS (Employment Hero) and Performance Management System (Clear Review) to ensure employee details and terms and conditions of employment are updated.
- Assist with ensuring that contract templates, HR template documents, policies and induction material reflects legislative and operational requirements to ensure automated functionality in the onboarding process.
- Prepare documentation regarding new hire employment and employment transfers.
- Assist with developing and managing HR policies and procedures to align with current legislation as well as business strategies.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- 2-3 years’ experience in similar role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build relationships cross functionally and influence decision making.
