The Hygiene Team Manager is responsible for delivering hygiene standards and practices at the Youfoodz production facility, ensuring compliance with quality standards, team training and development, and effective waste management while driving team performance to meet production schedules. Reporting to the Hygiene Manager the role is responsible for the pre-op results and delivering the hygiene strategy on the floor.

Reporting into the Hygiene Manager, this role will be based on-site at our custom built production facility in Karawatha.

**You will**
- Lead and manage a team of four supervisors, ensuring hygiene tasks and production schedules are met.
- Drive team development through training, coaching, and mentoring to build a high-performance culture.
- Foster positive employee engagement, modelling behaviors aligned with HelloFresh Group DNA.
- Oversee wash bay operations, ensuring daily equipment cleaning and compliance with required standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to sign off on pre-op tasks, ensure remedial cleans, and report results.
- Supervise GMP compliance, including stock checks, PPE management, and the maintenance of cleaning procedures.
- Support environmental monitoring, investigating hygiene-related issues and driving corrective actions.
- Ensure safety compliance, manage team timesheets, and work with Workforce Planning to ensure proper resourcing and training.

**You have**
- Tertiary qualifications in Manufacturing or a related discipline,
- Certifications in Food Processing (Certificate III), Commercial Cookery (Certificate II or III), and Food Safety (Certificate I, II, or III).
- Leadership experience within an FMCG environment
- Manufacturing experience in a high volume, fast paced production environment or similar
- Experience in Food Safety practices, HACCP and WH&S principles
- Lean Manufacturing experience
