The Channel Manager is responsible for the execution, development, and ongoing management of the relationship between AGL and its third-party sales channel partners.
Reporting to the National 3rd Party Channel Manager, you will develop and maintain effective working relationships with external partners to deliver AGLs sales, revenue and customer objectives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contract development, enforcement and re-negotiation at defined periods. Management to contract terms to drive both sales and continuous performance improvement
- Full financial responsibility, you will manage the budget and sign off on invoices
- Measure and report weekly, monthly and quarterly on sales performance metrics, financial metrics and conversion and campaign performance.
- Present incremental growth, product update and channel diversification strategies, developing sound, commercial business cases that demonstrate the ROI of these opportunities.
- Manage campaign performance to target, and where necessary, develop and implement performance remediation plans and activity to lift performance.
About You
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Experience gained from a similar role where you were responsible for leading a team of sales professionals
- Experience dealing with a variety of different stakeholders at once, including senior stakeholders and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Understand invoicing and accounting
- Demonstrated success in being able to conceptualise complex commercial variables that may sit in external channel arrangements and be comfortable working with ambiguity
- Strong effective influencing skills; ability to build internal and external networks to fulfil objectives
- Outstanding presentation, negotiation and influencing skills that will build strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners
