australia melbourne contract au$53 - au$58 per hour**Role Summary**: The Campaigns and Content Advisor role is part of a team dedicated to proactive communications and content strategies across various channels. The role involves content development, curation, internal awareness building, and stakeholder engagement for social media and content guidance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute innovative channel strategies aligned with communication goals to enhance brand recognition and community engagement.
- Lead content creation and curation on social media platforms, ensuring alignment with communication and channel strategies.
- Generate proactive campaign strategies, including ideation and scheduling, collaborating with other departments.
- Collaborate with various business areas to identify stories and maintain a content calendar aligned with communication strategy.
- Monitor social media trends, analyze data, and provide insights to enhance brand perception and minimize negative commentary.
- Provide training and guidance to content creators on social media best practices.
- Craft proactive and reactive messaging in response to social media inquiries and comments within tight deadlines.
- Support broader Communications and Marketing activities as directed by the External Communications Manager.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Create and execute social media channel and content plans in line with communication strategies.
- Build social media content capabilities through training and influence stakeholders to enhance business reputation.
- Develop and maintain a proactive social media content calendar, oversee content management and community engagement.
- Monitor social media landscape, issue daily reports, and alert management to emerging opportunities and issues.
- Conduct content audits, ensure accuracy of messaging, and consult stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties, fostering positive relationships and alignment.

**Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required**:

- Proficiency in social media content development and channel management (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Strong creative, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with diverse business stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop messaging.
- Demonstrated ability to curate engaging and thought-provoking content.
- Sound commercial acumen gained in complex organizations.
- Self-driven with strong autonomy, responsibility, and deadline management.
