About the Role
Looking to lead a high-performing team and shape the future of energy partnerships? At Origin, we're seeking a Broker Sales Channel Manager to drive growth through our third-party broker channel. You'll be at the centre of our Retail Business team—building strong broker relationships, leading a team and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
This role is all about strategy, performance, and partnership. You'll be responsible for expanding our market share in the SME segment while ensuring commercial success and compliance across broker operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales consultants and account managers. 
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key energy brokers and third-party partners. 
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue and margin targets. 
- Analyse broker performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities. 
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accurate commission processes. 
- Collaborate across teams to enhance broker engagement and customer experience. 
About You
You're a strategic and commercially minded leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You bring deep experience in sales leadership and broker channel management, and you're passionate about delivering results through strong relationships and smart execution.
You bring:
- Proven experience in sales and people leadership, ideally within the energy industry or aligned. 
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills. 
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities. 
- Proven ability to lead customer-facing teams and drive continuous improvement. 
- Advanced commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
