Geocycle is a specialised business that provides sustainable waste transformation and contributes to the decarbonisation of coal. It achieves this by safely utilising by-products generated by industry as both a raw material replacement and as an alternative source of fuel in the cement making process. We have a new opportunity for a **Business Development Specialist** to join the Geocycle team. Focused on identifying and pursuing leads through current and potential customers, you are all about relationship building. - Manage customer projects end to end, from initial lead to first delivery

**About you**:

- You have previous experience in sales, business development or account manager role, ideally in the waste or related industries. We are also open to recent university graduates.
- You have a natural ability to build rapport and great relationships with customers, and you aren’t afraid to get in front of them
- You are analytical, commercially aware and able to navigate the technical components of our business
- You are tenacious, driven and willing to take on new challenges
- You have a keen desire to learn
- You stay across the detail and see projects through to ensure successful results
- Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in business, science or a related field

**Why work for Cement Australia**:

- Opportunity to grow and develop under an experienced mentor
- Work for a business that delivers competitive, innovative, safe and ecologically sustainable waste management solutions to industry
- Package includes car and bonus potential
- Benefits that include novated leasing, product discounts, EAP program and parental leave

As an organisation, we offer our employees a close-knit and collaborative team whilst providing you with the tools and opportunity to make your mark. Our vision is to create a safe, healthy, productive and sustainable business and we are looking for like-minded professionals who align with our company values.
