As we scale nationally, we're seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth across food service, wholesale and retail channels. If you're energetic, commercially sharp and hungry to win, this is your chance to make a real impact in a business that's growing fast.


What You'll Be Doing

You'll take ownership of driving Village Dairy's next stage of growth by:

  • Identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities in food service, retail, and distribution.
  • Managing key customer relationships and building strong partnerships with distributors, wholesalers and restaurant groups.
  • Creating and executing sales plans that deliver measurable volume and margin growth.
  • Presenting product solutions that demonstrate real value and category expertise.
  • Conducting regular business reviews, forecasting sales and analysing market trends to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Collaborating with operations and marketing to ensure seamless delivery and strong brand representation.
  • Representing Village Dairy at trade events, industry shows and customer meetings across Victoria (and nationally as required).

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who's ready to own their territory and perform at a high level:

  • 3+ years' experience in sales or business development within FMCG, dairy, or food manufacturing (preferred).
  • Proven track record of growing accounts and hitting sales targets.
  • A genuine passion for food and an understanding of how to position quality dairy products in a competitive market.
  • Strong commercial acumen—confident with pricing, margins, and promotional strategy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel across Victoria.
