Business Development Manager – Greendeal

About the Role

Greendeal is on a mission to make solar, heat pumps, and clean energy accessible for all. We're looking for a hungry, ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team and help us grow fast. This is your chance to drive results, lead client growth, and make a real impact in the renewable energy sector.

You'll be working across solar, heat pumps, STCs (Small-scale Technology Certificates), and emerging certificate markets, collaborating with international teams, and shaping new ways to win customers. You will also play a key role in driving the development of new certificate markets in Australia, including ESC (Energy Saving Certificates), VEECs (Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates), and PRCs (Photovoltaic Renewable Certificates), managing the preparation and integration of new rebates and certificates.

What You'll Do

  • Grow our customer base in solar and heat pumps and explore new business opportunities
  • Lead and support a high-performing sales team, sharing your skills and ideas
  • Shape and streamline processes, improving efficiency across the business
  • Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with tech and IT teams to ensure systems work for the business
  • Explore and develop new renewable energy certificate markets across Australia, including STCs, ESC, VEECs, and PRCs
  • Manage the preparation and integration of new rebates and certificates into our offerings
  • Work closely with our global partners to align strategies and programs

Who You Are

  • Experienced in solar (retail or commercial) and heat pumps, with knowledge of STCs and renewable energy certificate markets
  • Skilled in sales, account management, or business development, with a proven track record
  • Goal-oriented, motivated, and a natural leader who leads by example
  • Quick learner, confident problem-solver, and innovative thinker
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues
  • Tech-savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office, G Suite, or similar tools
