**About the role**

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for an Asset Officer to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage.

**About You**

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Demonstrated ability to provide support and guidance to geographically disbursed teams and programs with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
- Experience in supporting the management of a large and diverse asset portfolio including heritage assets and capital infrastructure in a sensitive environment.

**Essential Requirements**

- Demonstrated experience in asset management frameworks and systems including program supervision, coordination and data management
- Demonstrated experience liaising with and coordinating staff or contractors undertaking asset maintenance and construction activities.
- A current Australian drivers licence.
