**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset System Development Officer to join our Asset Strategy Team. As our new Asset System Development Officer your key responsibilities will include providing administrative and end user support for Council’s Asset Management Systems, including system administration, system configuration, data management, data analysis, preparation of specifications and reports, and promoting the principals of asset management across Council. You will report directly to the Coordinator Asset Strategy and work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

This is a full-time permanent role based at our Civic Centre in Wantirna South. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 6 classified role. Remuneration will be $95,488.69 to $104,288 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

**What you will bring to this role**

The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the principals of asset management and the asset lifecycle.
- Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to analyse data, develop reports, and deliver training and presentations.
- An understanding of Council's infrastructure assets, asset condition assessments, asset valuations and asset renewal.
- Desirably some experience or knowledge of project management and business analysis
