**IT Asset Officer, Ongoing opportunity, Sydney CBD location**

The Department of Customer Service is looking for an ICT Asset Officer to join our growing team

**About you**
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey instructions to a variety of stakeholders.
- Previous experience providing client-focused ICT support services within a ServiceNow environment.
- Experience in ICT Asset Management and exposure to ICT Asset procurement processes.
- Collaborative professional adept in liaising with both internal and external service providers and vendors.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office with a particular focus on MS Teams and Excel.

**Your responsibilities will include**
- Develop and maintain a database for hardware assets (ServiceNow) and produce reports to enable effective support and management of ICT assets.
- Be an active participant in the development of Asset Management processes to improve workflow and overall operational efficiency.
- Liaise and coordinate with Internal and external service providers in the deployment and management of ICT Assets.
- Provide advice and support to stakeholders on asset requests and disposal to ensure compliance with approved legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
- Identify the impact/s of changing technology and software models on legacy and new environments to ensure business objectives are met.
- Manage stock distribution and shipping logistics for all incoming and outgoing ICT Assets.

Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $89707 base plus superannuation
